About

My hope is for everyone to find their light, to feel loved and to have a sense of belonging.

I am  a clinical psychologist with a degree in music and cognitive-behavioral therapy. While I was getting my degrees, I fell in love with yoga; its practice,  philosophy and the way it impacted my life and lifestyle. Going to yoga classes everyday was not enough, I wanted to learn more, so I started reading and researching about how to get deeper into my practice. A teacher training was my next step, so I enroled in a 200RYT at Yoga Works.  A few months latter, Steve Pyka, an amazin yogi and teacher came to Guatemala and I had the  oportunity to get a 50RYT in Rocket Yoga. Now Im happy and grateful to have done my 300RYT with Hari-Om Yoga School.

I NEVER IMAGINED HOW MUCH I WOULD FALL IN LOVE TEACHING YOGA.

I now teach yoga in some very beautiful yoga studios. I feel so grateful to be a part of them. In the afternoons I work in a Psychology Clinic named Illuminati a beautiful hearted place where I feel like home.

I work with children, young adults and adults offering them the choice to work with Music-therapy, Art-therapy and/or Cognitive-Behavioral therapy. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, cooking, practicing yoga, designing and putting together new jewellery for Joy of Life, a growing business I have poured my heart into.

“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.” -The little prince-

For me, life is like art, something I will never fully master.  Every day I get new techniques and fill my canvas with different colors, textures, fragrances and sounds. Some techniques I keep and use again, others I need to let go. Some days I like my canvas more than others, but one thing I know for sure is that it will change sooner than later. The good part is, that since im the artist I can choose in what direction to turn with the changes im given, this way I can make my canvas a happy place.

“Life is beautiful, messy and in constant change. Walking through life has taught me many things:
Stop expecting,
Be open to what life brings
Let go…”

Learning new things, practicing and teaching yoga, enjoying crafts and arts, taking pictures, traveling, cooking, enjoying delicious meals and sharing with friends and family are all ways that have helped me see this world with humble eyes; they are the people who have helped me find a purpose in life.

I want to share my love and art of living, hoping to make a positive change in the life of all those who walk beside me.
